Day 12: Reverse, Reverse

on

Starting off the day we went to the city and enjoyed a tour of Perth’s local art. This art is on display in a lot of public areas, and could be featured on buildings as well as the ground.

After enjoying lunch in the city we headed to King’s Park to enjoy a beautiful view of Perth for our final moments Down Under. Here was a fountain dedicated to women and children, as well as other interesting monuments for all to enjoy.

After spending a little over an hour strolling through the park, we headed back to Hale School to spend our final moments in Australia with some of our host students. Some choir students enjoyed sitting in on a rehearsal.

And thus the long journey home soon begins. From Perth, to Sydney, to LAX, to Logan. Though the trip is over, and on the way home we will be going back in time, many students seem interested in coming back someday…back to the future (down under).

Looks like you will have to rewrite that last post. Not quite Perth -> Sydney -> Los Angeles -> Boston was it??? Good prep for the business world that awaits you. 🙂
